Coopers ring kits can be supplied for all Cosworth YB engines @ £300 per engine set

A special one piece stainless cyl head gasket for Group N and road car use is available and has been seen to be totally reliable over many years of use  @ £200 per unit

Using standard RS500 stretch bolts, all bolts to be coated with Molygrease on the threads and washers, torque all bolts from centre outwards as in the order shown in Fig. 2 in 5lbs/ft increments to 50lbs/ft.

Then rotate all bolts 90º in the same order.  Then rotate them another 90º - total rotation should now be 180º.

Finally, torque bolts 1 to 6 in 1/8 turn increments until a crack-on torque of 115lbs/ft is obtained.  Use this as a minimum figure – the ideal is 120lbs/ft, maximum extra rotation is 30º.

Do not move bolts 7, 8, 9 and 10 after the 180º move.
